FC BARCELONA SIGNS WITH NEW ERA VISIONARY GROUP, WHICH, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ORANGE, BECOMES CLUB'S ‘OFFICIAL TELECOM OPERATOR’

Global leader in connectivity and infrastructure integrations becomes the new partner of FC Barcelona
for the next five years, until 30 June 2030


FC Barcelona and the New Era Visionary Group (NEVG), global leader in connectivity and infrastructure integrations, have signed an agreement under which the latter becomes the club’s new Official Telecom Operator for the next five years, from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2030. As part of the agreement, the Club will be launching ‘Barça Mobile’ Services in the coming months.

The partnership between FC Barcelona and NEVG is further strengthened through a strategic collaboration with Orange, part of the MASORANGE Group, the leading telecommunications operator in Spain in terms of customers base and one with the widest fiber and 5G coverage. Through this alliance, ‘Barça Mobile’ will deliver a wide range of services to fans and users, including mobile plans, data services, fibre optics, among others.

As part of the agreement, FC Barcelona’s Spotify Camp Nou will be equipped with top-tier 5G+ connectivity infrastructure by Orange, enabling spectators to stay connected, access digital services, and stream live from their mobile devices without interruptions. This technology will integrate seamlessly with the club’s systems, enhancing operational efficiency throughout the venue. Additionally, all users of ‘Barça Mobile’ will enjoy roaming and FC Barcelona members will get special benefits and discounts.

FC Barcelona is committed to transforming Espai Barça into an international innovation hub at the forefront of new technologies, and this partnership reaffirms its intention to collaborate with leading companies and advance its digital transformation. This new agreement also opens new opportunities for the sponsorship programme created specifically for one of the most important projects in club history, Espai Barça. It will offer new possibilities for both business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) companies, leveraging the global visibility and prestige of FC Barcelona and the significance of what will become one of the world's most iconic stadiums.

Benchmark venue for 5G connectivity

As a market leader and pioneer in 5G+ technology, Orange will equip the future Spotify Camp Nou with state-of-the-art 5G infrastructure, making it the world’s most connected stadium. NEVG, the global leader in connectivity and infrastructure integrations, will serve as the Master System Integrator, overseeing the design and implementation of this cutting-edge system. Together, this collaboration will enhance the experience for fans, employees, suppliers, and media, delivering ultra-low latency and seamless connectivity via Orange's 5G SA (Stand Alone) technology.

Espai Barça is a revolutionary project in the world of sports and entertainment to modernise and expand FC Barcelona's facilities, including the iconic Spotify Camp Nou, transforming it into the best sports complex at the heart of a major city.
